Weihong Guo (pronounced as Way-Hung Gwo) received the Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics<\/a> and the Master of Statistics, from the Department of Statistics<\/a>\u00a0, both at University of Florida<\/a> and both in 2007.<\/a> Right after graduation, she\u00a0 joined the Mathematics Department of the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa)<\/a> as a tenure track Assistant Professor and stayed for two years. Starting July 2009, she is with the Department of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Statistic<\/a>s<\/a> at Case Western Reserve University<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Her research is in computational and applied mathematics with strong focus on mathematical imaging science, inverse problems, computer vision, artificial intelligence in imaging, combination of data driven and model driven methods and their applications in biomedical engineering, medicine and geoscience etc. Her research has been supported by the National Science Foundation and National Institute of Health.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
